Beamore Management Ltd is always on the lookout for high-quality Clerks of Works to join our team, including both Building Clerks of Works and M&E Clerks of Works. If you take pride in inspections, quality, and helping deliver compliant, well-finished projects, we’d love to hear from you. We pay above standard Clerk of Works rates, and we offer various contract lengths with site visit frequencies ranging from fortnightly to twice weekly, depending on the project.
Key Requirements
MICWCI (Member of the Institute of Clerks of Works and Construction Inspectorate) or willing to apply
Valid CSCS card (essential)
Previous experience as a Clerk of Works is preferred, but not essential if you have strong site inspection experience in a similar role (for example, inspecting construction works or M&E installations)
Typical Duties (Building and M&E)
Inspection of all works to ensure compliance with contractor proposals, client technical briefs and design drawings
Witnessing testing and commissioning (where applicable)
Attending site meetings as required
Recording defective work and liaising with contractors to resolve issues
Carrying out final snagging of works
Completing site inspection reports weekly
Monitoring site progress against the construction programme
Assisting in checking valuations against works complete
